Meet Rachel & Ashleigh

We started Muscle Science for Women because women deserve better than watered-down workouts, fearmongering, and fitness advice that changes every five minutes. We read the research, test things in the real world, and tell you what’s useful, what’s overhyped, and what you can stop worrying about.

Rachel Gregory

Rachel Gregory

Rachel Gregory, MS, CNS, CSCS, is a Board-Certified Nutrition Specialist, strength and conditioning coach, published researcher, author, podcast host, and founder of RG Fit. She earned her master’s degree in Nutrition & Exercise Physiology from James Madison University and her bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine from the University of Miami. For her master’s thesis, she completed the first human clinical trial examining a ketogenic diet in CrossFit athletes, which was published in the International Journal of Sports and Exercise Medicine.

Before coaching full time, Rachel was a collegiate triathlete and athletic trainer. Over the years, she has worked with Division I athletes, WNBA players, competitive bodybuilders, and women who simply want to feel stronger and more confident in their bodies. Today, she primarily coaches women over 40 to build muscle, improve their body composition, and get out of the restrictive, all-or-nothing cycle. Her approach combines research with real life, because the best plan is one you can actually keep doing.
